Kazakhstan to supply billion kilowatt-hours of electricity to Kyrgyzstan in autumn-winter period. The agreement was reached at a meeting of the Supreme Council of the interstate between the two countries in Astana, the President’s Office of the KR reported.
According to it, the delivery of 400 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in Kyrgyzstan under the conditions of commodity exchange (irrigation water in Kazakhstan) will also be provided.
As reported, the parties agreed to redirect $100 million provided for the financing of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh investment fund for the implementation of the roadmaps for accession to the KR to the Eurasian Economic Union.
