The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the “Nur Otan” Party F.Sh.Kuanganov and employees of international research programs and projects of the Institute for Public Policy of the Party. The USAID Agency was represented by the Director for Democracy and Governance D.Hoffman, head of the USAID office in Astana N.Bergeson and program management specialist A. Yemelin.
At the meeting the Agency representatives told about the upcoming implementation of the program to support initiatives in the sphere of efficient governance at the local level and possibilities of cooperation between the “Nur Otan” party and the Agency.
Farkhad Kuanganov in his turn told the USAID representatives about the ongoing work on development of an anti-corruption program of the “Nur Otan” party.
At the end of the meeting the participants noted the mutual interests and opportunities for long-term cooperation.
